What does Baavra even mean?
Baavra is a Hindi word which literally translates as ‘crazy’ – but it has an angle. It is commonly used for people who see things differently, those who challenge the norms, those who more often than not are described as ‘dreamers’. Inherently optimistic about life, and enthusiastic about the future ahead, at Baavra we are crazy about making a difference; we dream of a better future for all

OUR SHANTIBARI
ShantiBari is our main source of pride. It is a home for boys, mums, heroes, and dreamers in Calcutta. It was set up to help underprivileged children of single mothers who hail from underprivileged backgrounds. Ten years in, it is now a second family for us all!
